Do you actually require a Building Permit?

 

In accordance with the Victorian Building Act 1993 & Building Regulations 2018 most building works and alterations require a Building Permit. This includes even smaller works such as carports, decks and even demolition and removal. Not having the correct permit can result in penalties and further action.
